Our Founder

Our founder, Celeste A. Williams Ed.D. is a vivacious artist, jewelry designer, and educator. She is no stranger to strokes and the recovery from the same. She has walked the road and is intimate with the ups and downs of navigating the process to restored health. Dr. Celeste has created this site as a resource tool to encourage those who are on the same healing journey.  She is determined to fulfill her mandate to make the public aware of strokes and provide information and resources to remove misconceptions and improve survivorship rates of those affected by them.

Whether a stroke sufferer, family member, friend, or caregiver, this site will help to equip and inspire you to live your best life and see to it that your loved ones live theirs to the fullest. Dr. Williams firmly believes that she has to make her years of recovery count. While she is not a medical doctor and does not offer medical advice,  Dr. Celeste's non-profit Life After Stroke Organization is committed to touching lives and improving the quality of life for stroke patients and their families.

In Loving Life, Embracing Your Healing Journey, Celeste Williams Ed. D. shares her healing journey from a massive stroke with great transparency. In her usual endearing manner, Dr. Williams takes readers through the course of events that led to her ill-fated trauma, the highs and lows of recovering from a stroke, and her resolute faith in God for bringing her through to live life again. In addition to strengthening your resolve to live, Loving Life, will:

  • Encourage readers not to take their health for granted…

  • Show the importance of family and friends…

  • Highlight the importance of surrounding yourself with people willing to help you fight for life…

  • Show the need to develop an intimate relationship with the God of Heaven, and

  • Provide scriptures to help you build your faith as you fight your battle.

For many weighed down under the heavy load of illness, Celeste Williams ultimately pens words of hope and lives as a shining example that you, too, can embrace the journey to overcome any obstacle in your way by building your faith and maintaining a merry heart.
